The fully Mediterranean cuisine, with simple but delicate dishes that recall the traditional country side preparations, using exclusively local, home produce, synthesizing taste, colour and seasonal production. Through its menu the Agritourism Aguni’ gives value to particular traditions, forgotten or in via of extinction, of which some are of Greek origin. The typical niche products like ‘Capicollo azze anca grecanico’ a type of ham, and Caciocavallo di Cimina’, a type of cheese, both nominated foods in ‘Slow Food’, are widely used. The combination of selected I.G.P wines of Palizzi, foods of prime quality, all made using local produce, offer an exquisite sensory experience.
